The Punjabi American Heritage Society was founded in 1993. One of its main purposes is to connect our children with their culture-heritage/roots. The means by which we are accomplishing this is through our Sikh Community Center by offering a variety of classes/programs for all ages.

Khalsa School, through dedicated volunteers, provides instruction in the reading/writing of Punjabi/Gurmukhi as well as Sikh history and shabads/hymns to approximately 100 students. Additionally, the Sikh Community Center provides classes on yoga, traditional Punjabi folk songs as well as seminars on Sikh history and contemporary issues.
